Green Shades of The Candlewyck

The shades were draw to keep the sun out of my eyes and off my Bronx Tale Omelet. Eggs, portabella mushrooms, diced sausage, fresh spinach and melted mozzarella served with homefries and buttered white toast made for a yummy (if unhealthy) breakfast at The Candlewyck Diner in East Rutherford, NJ.

With the Grammy ceremonies drawing near, I feel a salute to what may be the most famous dress (barely) worn on television is fitting. All award shows are nothing more than ludicrous exercises in industry ego flexing and it’s moments like this from 2000 that keep folks watching. Well, me anyway.

Man, That’s Strong Absinthe
